Today was bring your kids to work day. On the T this morning, this dapper executive got his 2-3 year old kid in tow. The kid was suprisingly well behaved for the fact that he actually sat down on a seat, said please and thank you and listened to his father. I was amazed since a week ago, I was subject to an incident where an identical kid ran amock in the train. At one of the stops, a visually challenged gentleman got into the train along with his dog. When the executive and the kid got ready to get off at the State Street train stop, the kid looks at the dog, steals a furtive glance around the room to ensure there were no witnesses, takes two steps to step on the dogs tail and bolts out of the train!!
Certain things never change.
