About 6 years ago, Channel [V] came up with this interesting concept of an album by bringing together up and coming singers of different genres to create a fusion album. The series also sparked 10 half hour episodes which chronicled the conception of the song to the final version. The singers included
Strings, Sagarika, Euphoria, Mehnaaz, Taufiq Quereshi, Pentagram ( yes Vishal and Shekar), Parikrama, Usha Uthup, Shaan, Sukhbir, KK, Suneetha Rao, Alms for Shanti, Vasundhara Das, Abbey, Ashutosh-Dhruv, Vedic Chant, Silk Route, Sanjay Maroo and Shankar Mahadevan.
I have been trying to scout some of the videos on youtube and here are some..

This song was a tribute to team India.
Shaan and Sukhbir, Deewana

this was a very cool concept. and i have most of the songs. but i couldn't find this one i remember..

also...it wasnt pentagram n usha uthup...it was parikrama n usha uthup.
every time i see parikrama in concert they play that song. so im pretty sure of that :)

Hi, am joining the party a little late.
I too wanted to say something. Not about the album but about an artist who was missing on the album and sadly there is no mention of him in the comments.
I'm talking about TALVIN SINGH and ILA ARUN.
they too had composed a track and believe me who had seen it can praise the way it was produced.
This track for some reason didn't find its place in the album and is now where else to listen to.
I had dropped a mail to channel v asking for a copy of it. just a try. and try it was.
could anyone of you get me a link to listen to this song or mail me a digital copy of it. This particular track was my personal favourite and then the ashu and dhruv track "tide"
anyways its good to know people interested in such music.
